Kseniya Simonova - Sand Animation

I saw a lot of examples of sand animation. Everyone of them was impressive.

In this art, an artist creates a series of images using sand, a process which is achieved by applying sand to a surface and then rendering images by drawing lines and figures in the sand with one's hands.

Otherwise, some artist use a scenario with a few songs in this show. It seems like a short film. And sometimes people may cry while watching the show because of the meaning of scenario.

Here is a special example of this art. Video was from a talent competition of Ukranie. Please complete watching, don't cut at the half. Because the end of the video was amazing and so meaningful.

Manga

Manga is a popular Turkish rap rock band. Their music is mainly a fusion of alternative rock and hip hop music, with a touch of Anatolian melodies; with electronic elements.

In 2009 they both won the Best Turkish Act award from MTV Turkey and consequently the Best European Act award from MTV Networks Europe in MTV Europe Music Awards 2009.

They are my favorite group and here is a song of them and video is about their success at MTV Europe Music Awards.

A Great Actor | Şener Şen

Sener Sen.. Turkish cinema history has already written his name with gold letters.

He is also at the top of my favorite actor list. In his films you exactly feel him. If he is acting a comedy you really feel good, in his drama films you feel the pain.. Other words, if he is acting in a film you feel the difference easily. Most of films are still playing on Turkish TV Channels. And people (like me) watch his films without boring, again and again. He is an alive legend for me.

Another reason that love him is, Sener Sen was born in Adana, my city. By the way he was born in 26 December 1941 as the son of Ali Sen. Ali Sen is a famous actor also in Turkish cinema.

Finally I wanna say something about his last movie; KABADAYI. I watched the film in cinema and after it I watched the movie many times. Kenan Imirzalioglu, Rasim Oztekin and of course Sener Sen was incredible in their roles. I offer you to watch the movie. imdb point 7.9/10

A crime changed his life into a hell.. Crime was in his childhood years but effects of it always follow him up, in the present also in the future... And naturally this effects will cause very afflictive results.

I wanna say something about the acting performance of Adrew Garfield as Jack at movie. His acting was very successful and impressive, I think. He is so uneasy, he is so foreign and also he is too alone in his role. This was exactly the director's expectations also.

Movie has 7.9/10 imdb points..

Today I'm gonna go to Istanbul for Cebit, business and my friends.. Before I go, I want to write something about Istanbul.

Istanbul is the city of sensations, I think.. Every kind of feeling you can find in this city. In other words every kind of feeling can find you easily. Love, pain, hope etc..

Sometimes you smile and just look the Bosphorus and wind whispers a song for you.. Sometimes you feel alone in the middle of crowded.. Sometimes you are with a lovely girl/boy in a lovely time, sometimes you hate everybody because of Istanbul.. Maybe you are dieing when everyone supposes you are alive. Maybe you are in a dream that never ends..

This city is Istanbul guys, you will never guess the other day, city just lets you to feel the moment..

They Might Be Giants is an American post punk group which established in 80's but they got their popularity in 90's. In a short period they were so popular but it didn't go like that. Here i shared their most popular song Istanbul Not Constantinople.

Kazım Koyuncu

He is a famous singer from Turkey. His music style was amazing. In his first years at music, almost no one is listening Rock music in Turkey.. But he started Rock music with Blacksea instruments.. This was a courageous start up.. And he created a Laz Rock music group (Zugasi Berepe) in 1993. This was the first in the world.. Actually, none of these are the reason of this post.

I am writing Kazım, because his death was very difficult for Turkey also for me.. He died because of cancer ,he was catched cancer in his childhood. In 1986 a big nuclear central accident was happened (Çernobil) in Kiev, Ukraine. The accident had big effects in Europe and Turkey also.. Especially in Blacksea side cities of Turkey.. Kazım was born in (Hoba) Trabzon and this city was in Blacksea side..

In short, we losed a beatiful and young human in 2005 beacuse of a f*cking nuclear accident. Some of us said 'He is too young, his death was early for us'. But everybody knows death comes always in correct time. And Kazım will never come back. We'll just listen his amazing music and pray God for him. God bless you Kazım. We'll never forget you..
